Sölvesborg is a town and seat of Sölvesborg Municipality in Blekinge County in southern Sweden. The city is located on the east coast of Sweden, approximately 30 kilometres south of Karlshamn. Sölvesborg Municipality has a population of approximately 17,500 people. Sölvesborg is known for its beautiful nature and coastline, as well as its historical landmarks and cultural heritage. The city is home to the medieval Sölvesborg Castle, which dates back to the 13th century and is one of the oldest and best-preserved castles in Sweden. In addition to its castle, Sölvesborg has several other historical buildings and landmarks, including the 13th-century St. Nicolai Church and the Sölvesborg Bridge, which spans Sölvesborg Bay and is one of the longest bridges in Sweden.
